1-day Covert/Concealed Handgun Clinic

IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT STUDENTS HAVE TAKEN FOUNDATIONAL HANDGUN TRAINING PRIOR TO THIS COURSE!

This is an intermediate skill building class. Students will review handgun shooting fundamentals and will assess skill level at the start of the course. The goal of this class is to increase student confidence in utilizing their concealed carry handgun in a manner that is realistic and repeatable. For best training, please consider bringing a few different outfits that you would normally wear on the day-to-day, to ensure adequate practice with different clothing types and concealed carry.

 Course curriculum will include:

-Foundation Review

-Instinctive Shooting and Shooting from Retention

-Grip/Stance/Draw/Sight Picture & Alignment

-Realistic engagement scenarios (sitting in drivers seat, standing in ATM queue, Etc.)

-Drawing from concealment and clothing considerations

-Movement While Engaging

-Unconventional Shooting Positions

-Firing Speed, Controlled Pairs and Rhythm

-Reloads

Required Equipment:

-Your preferred concealed carry handgun, holster and magazine carrying method. Weapon lights and pistol mounted optics are recommended but not required.

-3 magazines for your handgun (minimum)

-Ear and eye protection

-Weather appropriate footwear and clothing

-400 rounds of handgun ammunition

Recommended Equipment:

-food, water, snacks, packed lunch, extra clothing layers, extra pair of socks and footwear
