About Alptraumgruppe - Who are we?

Alptraumgruppe began as a dream among a close group of military and law enforcement veterans and active personnel. The dream was to build a network of tactical professionals who refuse to accept mediocrity that is bred within branches and agencies and develop a curriculum for officers, soldiers, sailors and marines to improve their skills and become more deadly. In addition to our commitment to serving those who serve, we also welcome all armed civilians to our courses, so long as they are not legally prohibited from owning firearms.

Our instructor staff blends 5+ years military experience, 8+ years in law enforcement and 5+ years in law enforcement tactical operations to bring a learned and diverse mindset to our curriculum. Our lead instructor Pete Knorr is a military veteran and current LE Tactical Operator, and has participated in 150+ planned tactical operations and includes several direct use-of-force actions, as well as holding numerous certifications to include an NTOA instructor certification. Pete specializes in small-element CQB, Night Vision training, Chemical Agents, Diversionary Devices and Less-Lethal Impact Munitions. 

We are by no means the end-all be-all of tactical knowledge and we are constantly enrolling in other curriculum ourselves in order to challenge our way of thinking and immerse ourselves in new and evolving tactics. We will always aim to bring our students what we believe works.

We also seek to give tactical professionals an outlet and a way to express the dark brotherhood that connects us all. We chose to do this through clothing and morale goods like stickers and patches. All of our artwork is made exclusively for us by our resident dark artist, Dennon Yorks. Dennon is a LE/Corrections veteran who currently works in security operations. His blend of philosophy and darkness was the original inspiration to our work. Our desire to reject mediocrity also led us to partner with some great equipment and gear producers to bring you our unique flavor of tactical soft goods.

We would love nothing more than to see our homies getting better, training hard, becoming more deadly through our courses all while rocking our gear.
